Act III and IV are basically completely different than Coachella/Copacabana, many of the interludes are different etc. Why wouldn’t she film it?

I feel like there’s a reason she’d want to record it in NYC, especially considering the Monster Ball film was at Madison Square Garden!

The only other place I could realistically see it happening is London (where the JWT was supposed to be filmed). 

The Chromatica Ball film was clearly intentionally timed to drum up hype for Mayhem, and be the “Lady Gaga is Back!” moment for the GP.  I think with Mayhem she will want to release while she’s still in the era, so if they shoot now the editing team can start working.
