Would Taylor do a countdown for something like that? Seems a bit overkill

She had 22 songs on a playlist, Elizabeth Taylor had a Time cover on August 22 and August 22 is this Friday.

Yes, when it’s being introduced for the first time. Now, you are ‘the’ grammar police. :abra:

It would never be correct as a person can not be a police. They can be a police officer, or another rank.

'The' grammar police makes sense. 'A' grammar police, would need to be completed as 'a' grammar police officer.

Eh, I could argue last year had too many strong pop songs nominated. Votes were bound to split.

This year there’s not as many monstrous pop hits. I still think it’s a long shot but I’d say it’s not fair to think that if DWAS did not make it, that Abra could not.

Each year the playing field is different and I like to look at the odds based on that more so than past attempts.

Honestly, I applaud your positivity.

Personally, I've already made up my mind that she's never getting a general field win, because for whatever reason she just doesn't have enough pull within the voting community; to me, the fact that Never-loses-a-grammy Bruno couldn't make it happen, means nothing ever will.

I don’t do uniform nor it’s an actual job. In my case, the grammar police is in an adjective form to describe a person who often picks up on grammar.

I also think it’s a long shot, sadly. But the Academy has been restructuring quite a lot in the past years and the mechanisms the used to be in place are not the same today. I’m certain that if Gaga doesn’t win a GF Grammy this upcoming awards, she’ll get got one eventually with a stronger “overdue” narrative, which is the ultimate fix for artists that have never won. If Beyonce was able to get one so will Gaga, even if it’s 10 years from now and with a much weaker record (that seems to be the case with these “consolation Grammys”).

Optics are everything: Both Kendrick and Gaga have lost AOTY the same amount of times but who seems more overdue today? Kendrick. Cause his loses were more monumental. At least if Mayhem loses AOTY it will still help set up Gaga’s narrative down the line.
