Lowkey admire PETA for being as radical and unflinching as they are.

People get so angry when confronted with the immense cruelty, torture and death their dollars support that even the suggestion that they stop directly supporting slaughter houses and factory farming creates a defensive and angry reaction.

That doesn’t cause PETA to cede any ground in their ideological battle. From the most outrageous examples of animal abuse to the depictions of animals in media, the exploitation of animals is not acceptable to them.

With actions like this PETA makes its stance abundantly clear that it is against animal abuse and the commodification of animal bodies.

Like any other social movement being against imagery that, for lack of a better term, ‘dehumanises’ people or normalises their suffering - of course PETA is against this.

Sorry but, this only seems radical to people because horrific animal abuse and suffering is celebrated and normal.
