I’m not at all surprised that she can outperform Gaga. That’s a given considering the type of pop and persona Gaga puts out in an America that has proven itself to be so basic and/or conservative. 

The real gag is the fact that Taylor is literally the only one who can pull these kinds of stats. I would expect her to have a solid fan base considering how vanilla her music is, but to consistently be the only one to do this? You would think she’d have MJ or Madonna levels of groundbreaking music or charisma, but she most certainly does not.

Thats ok. I can settle for our Gaga being #1 most iconic artist of our generation and #2 biggest female commercially. Runner up isnt so bad

 

#1 in both icon and commercial would be a dream but we cant have everything we want now can we?

Im sure if Gaga rereleased all her old albums and swindled us out of money for almost a decade she’d gain the support of the kids today too. That’s literally the only reason Taylor’s still as big now anyway  her music is horrid

Agreed except Lana. I think she’s known to those of us who follow pop girls, but I would argue she’s much, much lesser known than the rest you named - including Adele.

Lana arguably has the most influence on today’s female music scene, she changed the direction and she influenced a lot including Taylor.

there's billie eilish, sure but that's just one artist... she shaped today's music scene? that's what gaga did with her debut when the charts became filled with dance music but the charts aren't exactly filled with lana-esque songs...
