The song will get more eyeballs if it is played in a scene/end credits... but it will probably age better (for most of us, at least) if it is just a companion song, not featured in-show. So it’s not like that song always had the potential to be a big hit. It was actively NOT a big hit, but instead just a deep cut fan favorite song. Let's be real, nobody saw Bloody Mary coming, there's no clear recipe for a viral moment.
