Taylor has a publicist in Tree Paine (i assume her parents disliked her as a child) who is truly on the top of the PR game when it comes to marketing. And since she's came on in 2014, Taylor has gone from strength to strength. Gaga's team and label on the other hand, don't really seem inventive or responsive enough to the industry. And still play the old rules of engagement. Taylor seems very comfortable with Tree (the name makes me smile) and I think that’s because things get squashed fast and also a supreme rollout that never fails. You aren’t left in the dark wondering where she is or why you won’t get physical singles Free Palestine 🍉

Ziggy 11,847 Posted yesterday at 01:24 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:24 AM Maybe technically Taylor’s is better but look what it has also done to her reputation

steven 5,961 Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM I’m not really sure how I feel about Taylor’s marketing strategy since I’m not the target audience, but her team definitely seems to plan things out better and keep a clear vision. Gaga, on the other hand, hasn’t really been great with marketing since Born This Way. The Chromatica rollout was a total mess. Mayhem looked promising at first, with lots of interviews and fan interaction on socials, but ever since she launched Abracabadra, there hasn’t been much going on. Feels like they’re focusing on other stuff and leaning on her legacy. That might be fine if they’re not aiming for new fans, but it’s not a strategy that brings them in long-term.

But fact is there was obviously a shoot considering how many promo images came from the Abra shoot.. maybe its part of the resourcefulness she spoke about before :p
