She’s still MASSIVELY overexposed, the economy (especially in the states) is tanking, people went broke going to The Eras Tour last year, and the GP/Awards circuit paid TTPD dust. Honestly, I firmly believe overexposure is a myth as I've never seen an example of overexposure that can't be explained by other far more identifiable and quantifiable metrics. That said, I do think this era will have lower numbers on album sales and streams. The Eras tour made the Midnights/TTPD era a "must be seen to do" thing among influencers etc which won't happen twice. I think it's inevitable we see a decline in casual support on this basis as well. Then there's the variants issue - the biggest push in TTPD's numbers were digital editions which the billboard rule changes which seem to have been killed off as a result of the changes. So the sustained sales are likely to be lower, and if the streaming behaviour of TTPD is repeated she'll not have singles chart success on the same scale as the previous era. Otherwise though, she'll do ridiculous numbers as per on physical variant sales and if the western pop market trends of continuing to copy KPOP's homework continues....there is going to be a stupid number of vinyl variants. 1 1 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
