JoeCool 381
Even when Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game, etc…. I didn’t really love them at first but overtime I did. Ditto Abracadabra of late. My first thought was not bad. But now it grew on me to be I’d say in my top 10 songs of hers.
NUTELLA 10,603
Just Dance, Poker Face & Bad Romance were love at first listen 😵💫 🎶 JD in particular, because of the opening synth. I’ll never forget hearing it in a mall for the first time. I was in a shoe store & had to stop what I was doing to ask an employee what the name of the song was. They didn’t know 😅 lmao 1
faysalaaa 4,646
Not really, other than Telephone which took me years to be able to enjoy
bionic 50,107
The ones I love have all been instant loves. Some of the hits (DWAS, Shallow, Rain on Me etc) have not grown on me and probably won't ever grow on me
REALITY 76,749
Her popular songs are hit or miss for me. For example, I love Bad Romance and Just Dance, but I couldn't care less about Poker Face and Telephone. Mirrion Rizzons 11,086
The only one that wasn't instant for me was the cure I remember being so frustrated because for the first week after it came out, I listened to it so many times but got so annoyed because my brain could never remember how it went after I finished the song but the song is kinda mid so that's probably why...
AVeryGagaHolyDick 25,680
I’ve instantly loved all of her hits except Rain On Me and I still don’t love it
VTV 12,842
It gets sour on me fast. Then I don't listen to it at all for months. Then I'll be able to relisten to it again. Except the commercial ones my body would revolt. Like ROM, BTW, JD Edited August 1 by VTV
emili0 1,483
Just Dance did not convince me when I first heard it my freshman year of high school. It was too adjacent to other stuff on the radio (Womanizer, eventually Tik Tok, etc) and didn’t stand out for me. But once I heard Poker Face and saw that video…. Nagini 2,505
I didn't like Debra that much when I first heard it but now it's probably my most favorite from Mayhem and a career-best. I didn't like ROM when I first heard it because the drop threw me off but started to like it shortly after. Bad Romance... same story but loved it shortly after. Some her bigger hits sound different than what's out there in the market, so some of it could just be the ear adjusting. All of her other singles (except Stupid Love...) I either liked or loved instantly upon first listen. I really loved Disease, Applause, DWUW, TEOG, all of The Fame singles upon first listen. Economy 49,829
It depends on the song tbh. Some like Judas i liked immediately from first listen other like Disease at first were meh then I loved it after. Other like Perfect illusion I hated, then i tried to convince myself I liked it, and now realize i was lying to myself cuz I still hate it Edited August 1 by Economy
Lemon Blood 171
It depends on the song. I’ve never really liked Million Reasons, but I’ve loved Abracadabra since she played the snippet in Paris. Then you’ve got songs like Disease where I wasn’t crazy about it first listen but second listen it was like a whole new song. Abracadabra and Disease are now my two favourite Gaga tracks 1
RochestrMonstr 3,216
Just Dance and Applause fit this category for me. I thought they were both just ok but now I do genuinely love both songs. I forced Applause into heavy rotation at the time, but it took years to actually love it. I was very excited when she did the iTunes Fest and showed off more of ARTPOP because I liked many of those songs more. (That simpler sexier version of Sexxx Dreams that we didn’t end up getting was one of the highlights) Edited August 1 by RochestrMonstr
Davidsdaze 450
Just Dance and Poker Face I don’t quite care for… but when LoveGame came out I was definitely perched. Paparazzi I was sold. Bad romance revealed my Stan card. I still don’t get Million Raisins If Anne Hathawill, Anne Hathaway.

We're talking about popular songs right Spoiler jk don't come at me Love this song though OT: I kinda don't get DWAS even until now. I mean it's nice to have this song as an earworm for mass public, but the melody, the presentation, it's just not winning me over, a bit jarring even, anyone get what I mean?? Even the hated Blade of Grass is better than this a lot more??? Should have been the album closing song in my opinion.
