Transnistria outlaws mentioning LGBT people and not having children

The leader of the Transnistrian region, Vadim Krasnoselski, signed a package of seven "laws" on July 30 that prohibit so-called "LGBTQ+ propaganda", refusal to have children, and disrespect for parents. These acts are punishable by fines of up to 9,200 Transnistrian rubles, equivalent to approximately 470 euros, and even administrative arrest for up to 15 days. 

The laws cover several areas: mass media, advertising, information, child protection, cinematography and the Code of Minor Offences. In practice, the normative acts prohibit the dissemination of any information that could be considered as support for LGBTQ+ people and mention of non-traditional sexual orientations, mention or positive representation of gender change, statements in favor of a childless lifestyle, information that may generate “disrespect for parents”. 

The ban extends to publications in the media, films, books, the Internet, educational materials and advertising.

Really makes you wonder why the world is in such a mess when this type of bull**** is a priority. We ain’t going anywhere, we’ll never be erased, why not actually focus on things that actually help the world instead of being corrupt and filling your own pockets, soulless losers.

Been fighting for other causes and fighting between themselves for a while and then going pikachu shocked when things like that are happening.

And the community will let it pass without a single uproar, just like that..

It’s exactly my problem with the community. 
For instance, after many years I’ve decided to be back at the parade last June, thinking that the event would be at least somewhat different given the current atmosphere; I was expecting an actual rights sense of the subject but failed. 
 

For me seems like the same, which it’s basically hearing more of what’s necessary coming mostly from trans and drags, while more letters and signs keep on making it to the different flag versions even though all of them are still only segregating each other in real life and finally, the gay men “fighting” to show the best bodies and deciding which one is gonna throw the best after party. 

Its so unfortunate that a big part of the battle still feels empty, shallow on what should be purpose. Segregation will never keep us on track for our rights, community NEEDS to understand that.

also the pride became a place of "let's fight for everything and everybody" we still don't have the privilege to do that..
