I won't be too disappointed if he's not on ARTPOP because obviously if Gaga and Interscope think that the album can thrive without him im good with the change... and plus it's not like they'll NEVER work together again.. it's one album.. Gaga promised a 2013 sound and I have a feeling that if someone isn't able to give that she won't second thought dropping their material. Also.. I mean you look at all the work he has going this year for himself and other artists where he is producing more than half of their tracks in some cases.. I bet he would have a hard time meeting any kind of crunched deadline Gaga throws at him... and im not here for a rushed RedOne song that sounds like kinky robot s-x. Obviously hes produced some of her most successful music. I just always get surprised when people here get worked up over something i wouldnt have ever guessed would be considered negative otherwise. I mean i get why people had strong opinions about her fame fragrance launch performance or the alejandro video or the way she handled shots fired at her from kelly and die antwoord...but this isnt even like....idk. Shaney 5,515 Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 The album was supposed to be released in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2012, now we have the 1st quarter of 2013 and ARTPOP seems further away than ever IIRC, HML was worked on up until a week before the album release.... Just because they are talking about getting together in March doesn't tell us anything about the release date. None of us were even expecting the album in March. Whistle by Flo Rida was number one. Katy Perry had several boring hits from one album. Plenty of songs are popular. Im Too Sexy was a genuinely popular song in the early 90s. Doesnt make it good. Good point! No one is still listening to I'm Too Sexy. I want gaga to make music that's forever, and that means she needs to take risks and branch out. red one is old news and doesn't sound fresh anymore. Stop being dramatic everyone..if redone is on the album or not it'll still be amazing. you all like gaga for her amazing lyrics and catchy hooks that SHE WROTE...the beats are just an extra and if redone happens to produce a song or 2 then so be it but stop exaggerating saying gagas gonna "underperform" and how ARTPOP isnt gonna be a success because clearly it will be. RedOne is the reason why I love Gaga's music. If anybody producer that needs to go is that horrible DJWS, I'm not here for djws being the main producer on ARTPOP I agree. DJWS is absolute filth, like I did like BTW, it was ok. Had Gaga's name not been huge when the song was released and had she not pulled the vessel/egg entrance, the song wouldn't have smashed. BTW could have easily sold 10 m copies had it been produced better and without that atrocious rap part imo. He should stay away from ARTPOP since this album is supposed to make her the hitmaker she used to be. Since ur new here, i'd like to inform u that, we don't bash on each other like u did here. Its not like redone made those songs, lady fuucking gaga did, she wrote them, she compose them, she sang them and performed them. So maybe just a little faith on her, wouldnt heart.
