angelduuh 490
I'm still pissed that it didn't get the same attention as Abracadabra. For me they are on the same level. Amazing dark pop songs. Disease is like fine wine, it gets better as time passes. One of my favorite lead singles.
Freud 5,666
Disease has slowly become one of my Top 5 Gaga songs in her Discography. Her most daring Instrumental arrangement full of High Energy, showcasing her Vocal skills like never before, and the Lyrics are actually deeper than many paint them to be. The song is a monologue of "Mistress Mayhem" Gaga's dark side, tempting her to darkness. The vocal layering even reflects these two parts in Gaga. After seeing "The Art of Personal Chaos" Disease makes so much more sense.
MajorMinus 230
I wish I could erase my memory and re-experience this. Excellent production with lyrics that match the mood set by the instrumental. Ugh!! I was so smacked by how good this song was when it came out. Plus watching her break down the production on that video was soooo enlightening to watch. You could tell Disease was like her little baby - so much love and care went into it.
