Another Year Another Britney Spears VMA Rumor (feat Miley), but Possibly more Likely?

Apparently Britney is rumored to not only possibly present Miley Cyrus with the VMA Vanguard, but she also might release an album and perform a hits medley.

Britney did randomly post a photo of Miley to Instagram so at least that rumor does actually have some substance:

I would LOVE a new Britney album, but I doubt these rumors are true. Didn't Britney explicitly say that she's quit music and walked away from the industry altogether? I could see her returning to present an award to another artist, but that's about it, sadly.

I think after saying that Brit later said she was writing songs again. That’s when her team got excited and contacted Charli xcx and asked to her to make some demos  THEN Brit said she was done… again…  Brit is very wishy washy, but definitely done with the industry. I could see Brit releasing old demos, and random songs/EPs independently with no promotion. Music not the bling

I think there is a part of Brit that loves performing but absolutely loathes the business aspect. She wants to do what she wants, how she wants it. I'd love to see her release material in the future, whether it be unreleased songs or new ones!
