I would love for her to have another top 10 solo in US as well but i dunno, im just not blaming the fans... it coems down to GP reception as well

 

And God shes almost 40, her chart performance is actually quite rare already and impressive. With the exeption of Taylor Swift no other woman her age is currently charting as high as she is and tbh. If her fans were that terrible the base support for that wouldnt be possible lol

Lol i been saying for last couple days its bad updates. Ive accepted unless radio decides to start rotating this heavily (unlikely) the song isnt gonna recover so... yeah, im not gonna be delulu about it

Nah, this fanbase sucks. Thats the main reason she doesnt have solo hits and relies on collabs, its not a "narrative", its the reality.

I mean, we can see only one top 10 this decade and when a new single releases fans choose to say its over on week 2 instead of supporting it, that's pretty compelling evidence we suck, some more than others.

Yes, but it’s also a wild oversimplification. I agree we aren’t the most dedicated fans, but there’s a myriad of variables in the business that make a song hit or miss. It’s not all the fans fault

Sure, but in TDD case we are 100% to blame in some capacity.

The narrative that the song was not worthy of being in MAYHEM, the backlash against the MV, some of us even started spreading the AI stuff  The leaks where people dragged the song from the get go, the negative sentiment was and is overwhelming.

I'm just glad Gaga's track record didn't go the same way as Katy's in '24-'25 (though perhaps the Joker 2 scare was close.)
