Glad TDD is having cute success! I think some people have too high of hopes though. I imagine this being a cute little “The Cure” sized hit, which it’s pretty much doing. 
 

I definitely don’t see it doing as well as Debra at all.

All I really gaf about is TDD getting 20+ weeks on the chart

The weirdest thing is that Abra got amazing callout scores and TDD has amazing shazams already - this suggests that people enjoy hearing these songs on the radio but don't go and stream them as much.

There is no dance music on the charts like there was in 2011, people just arent streaming it as much

Now we have radio support but are hurting in streams and sales. Shallow had the sales but radio support took forever. Rain on me had the streams but radio didn't like it. Million reasons didint have shite. And DWAS had it all.

The shazams are probably both radio and wednesday. With the subtitles the artist and Song appear on the screen but still

imma be real, ViY would be a catastrophic flop.

They had an opportunity to push it after Copacabana or even in June for the summer but literally no song from the album tracks would do better than TDD right now.

ViY is doing 231k daily streams, Kill for love is doing similar number, same can be said for HBDUWM... And ViY and HBDUWM are the best performing album tracks on MAYHEM, they are doing bonus track numbers.

Many people talk about other potential singles but the truth is, they would ALL flop terribly and do much worse than TDD, don't get me started with people thinking that Zombieboy would do better, with the amazing 144k daily streams

I would die for a minimalist video for VIY, i just need this song portrayed in a video, something like Tennage Dream video, that portrays love and happiness. It will be the perfect thing to close the era, as a gift for the fans

Sure, a promo single with some visuals just as gift to the fans, I'd love that.

But as a full fledged single with all this promo, it would fail terribly, and that's why they didn't do it back in june, because even then, it was already iffy and the numbers were not good, they should have acted right after Copacabana but they were slow.

For the Billionaire girlies out there, here's my predictions for her next songs to hit 1, 2 or 3B in the next weeks / months based on the current numbers and an estimation of their evolution for the next months :

DWAS is going to hit 3B in less than 2 weeks (maybe 12 days)

Shallow will hit 3B in january 2026

Poker Face will hit 2B in january or february 2026 depending on how high those number will get during hollydays season

ARUTW will hit 2B in mid to late summer of 2026 or in 1 year from now

Telephone will reach 1B in late november 2025

Judas will reach 1B in less than 2 months probably in the first half of november 

Paparazzi will reach 1B in february-march 2026

Billion reasons could reach 1B in late may 2026

 

It's safe to say that in one year from now, gaga will have 12 songs over 1B including 2 over 2B and 2 over 3B. All songs remeased in the last 3 decades, from an artist that has debuted and became sucessful in a completly different era when streaming wasn't a thing yet, but that's billie eillish / the weeknd level numbers here baby

I wonder why its done so well on Shazam yet streams are kinda struggling to take off... usually that indicates interest.
