Billboad needs to start being transparent about their rules. My understanding has always been that if a song peaks in the top 50 and spends 20 weeks on the chart, it is supposed to go recurrent once it drops out of the top 50. This song peaked at 17 on release week and then spent multiple weeks in the top 50 a handful of weeks throughout the last year. Aren’t there some rules that make songs disappear from Hot 100 after 20 weeks and then 50 weeks if their not in the top 50 and top 25 respectively?
