I think its alright. Really its only the 1st day of rolling effect that should be brutal as debut day tends to always be stronger than the days after

 

But by the time you get to 2nd day of rolling effect (day 9), the rolling is no more or less powerful than any other song on the chart so its nothing special imo. We cant use rollback effect as a confort lol, every song on the radio chart has rollback effect unless its brand new

Well it did only +1M updates all the first week, so yeah she could have got negative updates on other days. Lately +1M updates are considered as big tbh

If anything, yesterday's and today's numbers just show radios didn't let down the song after one week, that could have happened, especially when we talk about Lady Gaga

I agree, thats why I said i think its an alright update... im not gonna say i think its amazing cuz a new heavily promoted song thats starting off such a low base could also gain on radio a lot quicker too

 

But really my main point was just that the rollback effect cant really be used as an argument for a songs update. Over 90% of songs on chart have the exact same effect so its all relative

 

Again I think day 8 when you get the first rollback is the only day that usually is a big thing cuz debut day will always be a bit stronger than the rest of the week. But once your past that brutal day, from day 9 onward each day should become relative pure gains vs the same day the week before and truly measuring what the gains are and this is where you wanna see consistent good gains if the song is really gaining.

 

And 0.46 is not bad at all, Im not saying that. But i also maintain its not amazing either. Its ok i think. Id hope to see regular days of above 0.5 to 0.6 min if this truly is to become a radio hit. Again were starting off a low base so the room for growth is huge
