REALITY 76,326
Tbh I don't mind that there's no Chromatica. Some of the songs would work well with the concept of the show (e.g., 911, Replay, Free Woman, etc.), but I'm more than happy with the setlist. If we have to drop some Chromatica for some ARTPOP, I'm ok with that. š¦ š§āāļøš„šøšš»šŗš§ššāļøšŖš¤šŗš±š
meltedplastic 285
It's a horrible album. She should do more songs from BTW as it's fitting for the theme. I NEED Edge of Glory to be sung again live, studio version. Not on the god damn piano, 1
Ziggy 11,787
i feel like unless a song is huge runaway success it's just not getting replay the following tour. she has SO many songs to pick from and in this case, the show is fairly tight already that I get it. Plus, I feel this show in particular is super 80s new wave and funk driven that chromatica would objectively feel kind of off. The only "off" songs she included here were bonafied HITS of hers so I think she was definitely trying to opt for theme this go around

Alxjcgn 242
I don't think it has anything to do with her feelings about Chromatica, but I see Chromatica and MAYHEM being linked by Chromatica being the pain and despair while MAYHEM is the confrontation of the pain and healing that was being strived for in Chromatica... Because of this, I don't think any Chromatica songs would have fit the setlist properly (plus it was her last tour and so she wanted to give fans more songs that haven't been heard in a while). I think ARTPOP better fits the storyline and art of personal chaos narrative

I know she said this in more of a "I was so depressed but BloodPop did what he could to help me come back to what I do best" way, but sometimes her tone felt a little bit off Not too off from saying that she wanted to make lg7 all sound like perfect celebrity but Michael said she had to make it pop š 2
nATAH 48,867
why is anyone shocked? she just toured that album you guys need to start accepting that with every new album (and soundtrack), there will be less and less space for each album mother, what must i do?

Nycboy 1,092
I honestly feel like the Chromatica tour is still SO fresh in my mind (the hbo film only just came out last year) so I donāt needĀ to see her perform Alice, Replay or Babylon etc. for another few years until they feel like fun throwbacks. Performing them right now would just feel tiring.Ā Ā I feel like itās a good strategy to ignore an old album for awhile to build some hype and then reintroduce it to a setlist when fans are actually starved for it (see: ARTPOP, summerboy) Edited July 17 by Nycboy

IllusionLover 6,659
I think it's a bit ironic that Stupid Love was performed at Jazz and piano and MR and Shallow are on the MAYHEM ballĀ 13 | this is my dancefloor i fought for, your voice is louder, it echoes
