I get it, but in the case of voice issues, it's very easy to damage your voice permanently when you have vocal strain or an injury, this wasn't paid attention to as much in the past and once great vocalists can't sing now because they kept going because "The show must go on".

Then there's the factor of social media, bad vocals at concerts get blown out of proportion over how they "can't sing anymore" so I can understand wanting to cancel because it would be filmed by everyone and posted.

Yes, definitely! And for vocalists like Kelly, almost every song she performs is a vocal nightmare! Almost all her songs have an anticipated big note and full upper register belt last chorus 💀

She doesn't have like a "Zombieboy" or a "Scheiße" for her chords to rest. 

And yes, it's so sad that most of our greatest vocalists who experienced many years of immense worldwide success, are left with a small fraction of what their voice once was. In a way, Kelly not being 100% focused on just her music career and taking a downtime in-between albums is why she can still sing like a beast in her 40s.
