Maybe Gaga's tone, like others said. Another skip is DWaS... I never considered this song as part of Mayhem and been so keen on that song either... I like some Bruno stuff but that one never really made it for me. I really love the album, bonus included. For some reason I always get bursts of emotion and teary eyes listening to the songs in linear order, from LoveDrug onward. Don't know exactely why. It's in the songs progression... However, I grew a bit tired of the official brickwalled sound. So I burned myself a new CD-R with the higher DR version remastered (by a japanese sound engineer ?) shared online here and there (based on the Atmos hires multitrack, I suppose). The 2 bonus tracks and DWaS are missing in this version. So I tried my best at adjusting the dynamics of these in Audacity. The result is good enough to match the general feel. Outside of my JBL car stereo, I also play music home on a Bose computer system and KRK monitors. A bigger Mackie PA system, with 2 18'' subs for DJing too. The bigger the audio system is, the worse the Mayhem official low DR version sounds, I reckon. But it sounds OK on smaller wifi boomboxes or recent headphones... Generally speaking, I really dislike the low DR, pushed to the limit kind of masters we get with most of todays productions. Anyway. Whatever floats your boat... Also i liked perfect celebrity at first, but the background vocals in the chorus yelling perfect celibrity after every line got annoying quick.
