I've noticed they both have that bass as the driving factor but they're only at their deepest/loudest on the dance bit. So, for Swine it's after the drop but for GoE it's the "I'll t-t-take you" bit. If it hit that hard through the whole song it'd be exhausting to listen to Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.
Lextyr97 19,953
Mayhem’s production is excellent and actual professionals all agree with that 2

Bc yes everything you said but also Gaga has been very adamant about the intentionality she brings to the general sound quality of an album. Not just the “vibe” but the literal textural quality she wants her albums to have and that def comes down to mixing and mastering Yes, but a master is very different to intentionality behind production and mixing. Artists have no control over the master because it's purely a product of the format it is consumed on. There are certain standards it is required to meet. Loudness wars are a product of the CD era and they have remained through the streaming era, with even vinyl being affected at times. Most people are not hearing the music as it's truly intended. MAYHEM on hi-res 24bit digital as a DR rating of 5 out of 14. Here's the high DR version of "Vanish Into You" for comparison. This is how artists want their music to sound. https://krakenfiles.com/view/FZ3QTlSK5d/file.html and here's the Dynamic Range database for anyone interested in Gaga's ratings and which versions of her albums sound best https://dr.loudness-war.info/?artist=lady+gaga&album= Edited June 23 by Windowlicker
Dramatica 13,690
POV when you see someone randomly criticizing MAYHEM mastering I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.
Lord Mayhem 843
My only complaint is the Abracadabra hiccup... The other songs are intentionally "noisier" based on the tone of the song and message i.e. Perfect Celebrity, Disease, and GoE which would have fit with BTW's production style
