Cop Kneels on Protesters Neck in Philadelphia

A cop was filmed kneeling on a protesters neck in Philadelphia. The video was taken at an anti-ICE protest. Another officer notices him doing it, and then tells him to stop and tries to block people view of what's happening. This follows a previous incident just over a week ago in Australia where a cop kneeled on an Indian man's neck. This incident and the prior one have both sparked outrage and comparisons to George Floyd's death in 2020.

This type of thing is why I don't have sympathy for "law enforcement" when they get caught up in sticky situations. 

99 times out of 100 they're either a cop that would kneel on someone's neck or one that would try to cover up the kneeling. In the event that a cop tries to do the right thing, that cop gets forced out of their position by the others.

-Raising the minimum age of LEO hires from 18 to 25
-mandatory body cams that cannot be turned off at all during shifts (even during downtime)
-& a publicly-accessible national database/register for all complaints of police abuse against individual officers

would be some small but enforceable changes that could make big differences. But like you say, real change is unlikely. Pigs have the power.

I saw a video last night from LA where they shot a woman in the stomach who was trying to walk home (yes rubber bullets but these are still causing serious injuries, they're only rubber coated)
