I know before 1991, when airplay didn’t count, chart runs were shorter in general.

It was common for a smash hit to have 7-8 weeks in the top ten and spend less than 20 weeks on the chart.

Edit: I also know some of her later ones had a high peak but didn’t have very long chart runs either (We Belong Together did but many other Top Tens after Heartbreaker did not) 

Double Edit: Nevermind I clearly misunderstood the OP. If Drake has her beat then Mariah probably does too I guess.
