Thats how I personally feel about the whole Palestine/Israel thing. I don't follow it enough at all to know what side is doing what so I avoid giving my opinion or talking about it. 

And I do agree with him that the whole Potterverse DID bring people together and still has a massive fanbase. He's praising the art and world she created. Not the woman herself. I think she's vile woman but I still enjoy Harry Potter, always have and always will. Ive had the books, movies, merch and games forever while I was growing up and Im not just gonna toss it all out and pretend like that world doesn't bring me joy.

You dont need to be chronically online to know what the leading contemporary literary figure in England whose work you acted out for almost a decade of your life is a transphobic scumbag who vowed to use the profits she makes from said work to fund transphobic actions. You just need to be a privileged loser who has nothing else going on for you and whose only relevance in the entertainment world goes back to that role and nothing else. We're in 2025, we have news EVERYWHERE, there is no excuse to play the 'neutral' (read: centrist) stance unless you're willingly ignoring the facts, and that pertains to both Rowling and the Palestinian genocide. You choose to ignore it, doesn't mean the information isn't readily available.
