she changed labels and went from a major label to an indie one called gamma, presumably on the promise they would treat her like their main star – they have many industry contacts as the CEO used to work at Apple Music I think and is backed/funded by them, so I'm guessing this will be good for her. She basically wants to achieve 2 more #1s, they said so in the announcement, and it seems this new label is investing in that success heavily.

Type Dangerous is distributed by the new label startup called gamma., which is also known as distributor for Usher’s latest album Coming Home.

Many startups like gamma. are majorly focusing in streaming and digital purchase numbers, which made me question, how do you distribute physicals like CD and vinyl, especially for international market?

gamma is run by someone with a lot of experience/contacts so I'm sure he can make a deal with an established label to distribute physicals. It's like how Parkwood (Beyoncé's label) is physically distributed by Columbia (I think?)

i think they're talking about the radio performance in an ageist world, since she's had issues getting airplay and promotion for the last 10-15 years.
