Lady Gaga is rumored to receive The MTV Video Vanguard Award this year

In the end this is not going to happen because knowing Gaga, she’s not gonna want to do the Vanguard Award if she’s not going to be there, and hell will freeze over before Gaga pulls a Chappell Roan and cancels that MSG date to attend…

This is the only mistake I’m putting on the Haus this era. They should’ve left the first week of September off the tour. Even is the VMAs have fell through, the Vanguard does receive a decent amount of attention, it’s a big performance ala halftime show, and because it’s on the last quarter of the year, it’s right before Grammy nominations start voting. They need to keep her momentum all year and this will be a missed opportunity

tbh i always assumed she would attend the vma's this year, cause they usually love her (not in 2014 when ARTPOP didn't get any nominations ) when i found out she was performing in NYC on the same day and was a bit gagged ngl.

MAYHEM and Gaga are probably getting nominated in many categories (i mean, who else this year), she could walk out with many awards and a possible vanguard, a bit of bad planning from their team if something doesn't happen IMO. 

Plus, she always attended when she's on an album campaign, she did for TF/TFM/BTW/ARTPOP and Chromatica, she only skipped Joanne, probably cause it wasn't nominated for anything.

In like 2009-2011 literally 9 out of 10 rumours were fake. Like monsters woth nothing better to do and in desperate need of attention pertended to be insiders or having a mom who worked at netflix

Gaga passed her Vanguard criteria 5 years into her career so it's very redundant at this point. I'd much prefer her being nominated for general categories and winning.
