Chromatica the planet does not actually exist. That was jusr a thingy she invented for the Stupid Love video which was shot on an iphone so that everyone could see all the lovely iphone colours because she was in league with Apple at the time (maybe she still is).

That makes no sense, Chromatica has states and a government, laws and goverment offcials. There's even an official Chromatica twatter acount. So riddle me that then

From what I gather from everything we have videos/magazine/interviews/performances Chromatica itself is a place/planet that exists in her mind. The different factions, locations, and various aspects representing her own processing of the world around her. That's why in the visuals we see a lot of biomechanic imagery - such as the back cover/canvas for Alice on Spotify, the entry point to Chromatica is through her own mind and body. The Chromatica Ball opens with Bad Romance, Just Dance, Poker Face - and then an interlude of her hooked into a machine and we get Alice thus starting the Chromatica aspects of the show, of which the performance has her in this very organic almost bloodied look. 

 

...lowkey writing this makes me realize Chromatica is lowkey the lore of Bionicle and the concept of Mata Nui having an entire civilization and different islands located through out his body.
