Morphine Prince 105,626
Paramount/Skydance’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning flew to a franchise best domestically, internationally and globally. The offshore number from 64 markets is $127M through today + $63M in the US, total $190M. That being said, this movie has a budget of $300M-$400M so it it almost guaranteed to lose money as it need to make like $1B to be deemed successful. REALITY 76,228
The messaging on these Disney live-action movies is all over the place. Like, does the general public want them or not? Because they'll complain about it every chance they get, but then they make a ton of money. I'm guessing it's because families are powering these live-action remakes, and they're likely not the ones on Twitter every other day whining about Disney. But still, there's got to be some overlap, right? People will complain, but then still see them anyway. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

The people on Twitter complaining are middle aged childless people meanwhile families are actually going out in droves. And yes, I am 30 and childless who critiques these movies lol.

I'm not terribly invested in Lilo & Stitch in particular cause I've never been a huge fan, but I'll never forgive them for the way they massacred Mulan My favorite Disney animated movie, and I had to turn it off after like 15-20 minutes 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
Morphine Prince 105,626
This weekend was the best weekend at the US box office in 2025 with a total (estimate) of $261M And with Memorial Day tomorrow it will be even bigger as many people go to the movies on this holiday. Morphine Prince 105,626
Oh and for anyone curious, Lilo & Stitch has a $100M budget and is already beyond profitable in 2 days. This movie is a cash cow for Disney that they NEED after a colossal flop that was Snow White.

It honestly sucks They removed the most crucial story beats...completely gutted the soul 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
