from Abra to HBDYWM, no shade but: a choice

Free Woman was a single in La France wasn’t it? I don’t think it will mean worldwide but HBDYWM still better than nothing

At this point I don't think she's going to release anymore singles. But I soooo hope that I'm wrong.

I doubt we're getting another single.

Post release singles generally flop these days no matter who drops them.

Plus with the gap between Singapore and Mayhem Ball - it's either the fan wet dream of a new setlist and show or taking time to make a music video.

Touring makes more profit...

That song has grown on me so much since Gaga performed it live at Coachella, that at this point I wouldn’t mind it, although I do still think there are stronger contenders for the next single.

I wonder what a music video for How Bad Do U Want Me would be like.

Realistically, I think it'll either be VIY or GOE. I feel like those are the ones that have the most traction and the ones the fans have gravitated to the most. HBDUWM isn't a bad choice though. I'm a fan of all three, so I'd be happy with any of them being the next single.

I think its worth noting what fans like the most vs the GP isnt always the same, so a song getting more streams as an album track than another doesnt mean that as a single the result would automatically be the same

But I agree they are good choices also

Vanish Into You

It's my least favorite 'potential single' ...but I also could see radio and the GP eating it up, probably the 'safest' choice as the next (last?) single....

It doesnt prove but the fact that its 2 hints and not just 1 makes me wonder (playlist + Australia single)

Again I also dont think they randomly release singles differently in Australia unless they are testing it or something. Only a small percentage of singles ended up actually staying different in Australia.

They do, though. As mentioned, DITD was a single in limited territories including Australia, along with several others from nearly every album: Eh, Eh; DITD; Joanne; ARUTW; INLA; 911; Free Woman… none of these - or any of her singles - became official/WW singles.

There’s really no need to “test” anything in 2025 for a post-album single; given they’ve pretty much gone extinct, it’s obvious they don’t do much to move the needle on US / WW album sales and she clearly doesn’t need exposure to push ticket sales for the tour. If anything, staggering the release of a post-album single makes less sense now as the few tactics available to promote it (playlisting, music video) utilize platforms with worldwide access and aren’t effective if they aren’t done at the same time.

Considering nearly all of her traditional promo has been focused in the US (with a bit of UK and Japan) since BTW/ARTPOP, it makes sense that they send the occasional single to radio in bigger international markets.

If that is true i wonder what is the reason or point of releasing a different one randomly in another Country

Honestly, at this point I just want her to confirm HBDUWM as the next single, only to piss off the delusional "elitists" in here :brat:. I'm sorry, y'all complain about this song, like you have some sort of "refined" musical taste, and then your Spotify wrapped is Miley Cyrus, Poppy, and Peppa Pig, give me a break :icant:

I CANNOT take the detractors seriously, I'm sorry :ladyhaha:. GaGa, gurl, you know what to do, do it for the girlies :vegas:
