This is about Spotify stream count, it includes both free and paid streams as equivalent... Each stream counts as 1.

The disparity in listenership between the original album and the Taylor's Version project definitely contributed for that. I got curious and I checked the numbers, 1989 has 9,100,113,068 streams and 1989 TV has 5,215,636,747 streams. She could have 4 albums above 10 billion streams by now

1989 was not added on streaming services until 9 months after its release because streams didn't matter for charts back and girl didn't want to lose any point on BB200
