I doubt you ask about Loreen to people outside the Eurovision bubble and they could tell who she is, like yeah, a few will know

Now in NL most people will know Loreen and at least 3 songs by her. People know Conchita, Måns, Måneskin. They don’t know Nemo or JJ. We can’t always have iconic winners, but having jury winners instead of televote winners, results in forgettable winners. The contest is craving a grand winner again that is loved by the GP and results in a hit.

also I hate how they made “united by music” the permanent motto when the reality is totally opposite. Man I used to be so hyped about Eurovision 10 years ago

Over the last few weeks, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, and Iceland stated that they might not participate at Eurovision if Israel is still in. Ireland now stated that they 100% won’t participate if Israel is there.

No matter on what side of history you are, Israel in Eurovision in the current state is making the contest not enjoyable and way too political. It would be a good thing for that alone to not let them in the contest. Besides the obvious other reasons, that is.
