This. Like please give her some credit for putting out a fully non-commercial album with 100% commitment to the genres she's wanting to explore with all of the acts. It's a brave thing for a popstar to do vs. the easy way out with a pop-country album or even worse, something like Joanne, Post Malone's album, or any of the albums/artists trying to roleplay nowadays.

Excuse you :triggered:

Reread my post where I said Joanne was a fantastic album, just like Cowboy Carter :triggered:

Joanne is a bad album and I say this as a lifetime Gaga stan. And I like country music.

The reaching some of y'all have to do to downplay this woman's success and achievements at every turn is comical :ladyhaha:

And for what? Because she's not humble enough? Some of y'all get real bold when you have a hit tweet and she's literally Beyoncé lol

Whatever genre it is, pop, country, country-pop, Americana, soft-rock, analog-- it is truly just not a good album. Honestly Gaga even admitted it herself when she talked about wearing outfits for each album. I can feel that through the entire album and I think it's the most insincere and insecure album she's ever put out. It was branded as being her most personal and vulnerable work, but it ended up being her fakest.

Kind of a silly record to proclaim if I'm being honest...Tea Time Eye Roll GIF

Anything to distract from those ticket sales I guess...

The only album she said she wasn't proud of was Chromatica, "it maybe wasn't my best work"

She said it took her backwards in her growth as a person, which honestly just makes me appreciate the album all the more as a true reflection of her journey as an artist and a human

But you're allowed to not jive with that :kara:

Anyway, Beyoncé's country album (actual country album, not the pop album Gaga put out in 2016 :vegas:) is great and a lot of y'all look really corny trying to downplay how powerful she is

She could cure cancer and some of y'all would be like "...okay but diabetes is still around so did she really do anything special?"

I never said that she has to put out a perfect album each time or even an album tailored to my individual preferences. I appreciate her entire journey, all the ups and downs, genres, etc. but can still have a clear opinion about stuff I like from her vs. don't (I am not a fan of Joanne or Chromatica whatsoever). Doesn't make me a hater just because I happen to not like two of her albums.

I didn't say you were a hater :poot:

At this point I feel like we're having two different discussions :ladyhaha: both are off topic though so let's just agree that Bey's the second best girl doing it right now and call it a night :ally:

Should I get a slice of pizza today? I don't know... the day is almost over so maybe it's not the vibe anymore. I still need to do laundry.
