 This is amazing. Sometimes she does or says things that years later could be brought up as "easter eggs" and I want to think these are coincidence or just random ideas that she revisits years later. I don't think she had been working on Mayhem since "LG5" sessions but there's probably a little bit of inspiration from what she had been doing at that time. She's a bit bad with dates, years and stuff she does in past eras I don't think she'd be teasing something this far and maybe she made it work with the "I think so" like she probably realized she mentioned that without knowing it.

I choose to believe she has this concept for over a decade, i mean, she mentions "Mistress of mayhem", that's way to specific to be a coincidence imo

I really don't believe it was a coincidence either.

Yes, she did say it. It's like that napkin from 2007 where she was already conceptualizing You and I as a song.

I don’t think it’s a total coincidence but I believe it’s completely unrelated to the MAYHEM era. I think artists have like words they are always ruminating on and concepts that are so inherently related to their art, they become kind of a personal vocabulary

I think that’s the case with Mayhem, it’s not a coincidence we thought LG5 would be called CHAOS Angel because the idea of chaos/mayhem is very recurrent in Gaga’s art

It’s not like she had this whole concept planned and she was name dropping it as a tease like she did with “born this way”, she probably had written the song before she started saying it in every interview

When I said Gaga is a time traveller, it was just a kidding shortcut.  Seriously... I'm not surprised. With people of her caliber and creativity, it's not uncommon to see early projects smouldering across years. Lifelong shelved ideas will resurface when opportunity or ideal context arises.

Gaga's career is the vibrant proof of what happen to someone who, against all odds, trusts in her own talent. When you hold the line and deeply believe you're born superstar, sooner or later you'll reap what you sow.

I think her brain is like an art archive. She creates concepts and stores them for later use. She's just an ocean of inspiration tbh, I love it. A true freak of the arts.
