Then in french we have a say that goes like : grimper aux rideaux = climb the curtains. Which means being so sexually aroused you'll climb the furniture. So here the curtains are climbed, hence the cream... Oh well... ateotd, what do I know ? But that's a fine image, like the shaking ceiling... Well Gaga has them, the curtains, so... And every cis woman technically has labia aka 'curtains'. Sometimes (quite often actually) the inner set of labia, the labia minora, are a bit longer than the outer set, the labia majora and they stick out a bit. It's not just smooth with a hole down there. Actually Gaga's labia appearing bulky is what started the "she has a penis" rumors back in 2009. As a woman I wanted to clear this up. On the subject, I find Killah lyrics to be pretty direct and straightforward. I instantly got what she meant with making the curtains cream. As a french speaking native, each day comes with loads of new english nuances and subtleties I have to learn. The mistake here is on the vocabulary side : flaps or curtains doesn't seem to commonly translate as women's genitals, do they ? Hence the confusion. Thanks again for the heads up. Now, on the specific aspect of women intimate anatomy, as a straight single 70 old male, somehow less active, but still ... I consider myself as less ignorant ... who knows anyway, right ? There's always someting to learn... About Gaga's penis rumor origin for instance... So thanks for the heads... up on the matter ! No but seriously, as a gay man, I never thought of it like that. I just thought bedroom curtains getting creamed from effing while standing up.

I'm a woman, also French native, and never in my life have I heard labia being referred to as curtains. I don't think I have ever heard it being referred to as anything, actually. Even in basic anatomic talks, it's not mentioned that much. The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic! Just to clarify, labia are not commonly referred to as curtains. I'm sorry for the confusion I caused. I just meant that I think Gaga refers to labia as curtains in this song. Which is clever with all the bedroom references in the song, throwing in a double entendre like this. The Fame is filled with double entendre and its one of the lyrical styles of Gaga that I love so much. Sneaky sexual reference like fa fa f... her face and discostick. Dancing in circles is probably the best example. It's a song about masterbation, but it can be played on the radio without censorship. Beating around the bush is a common expression but a bush can refer to her down under and beating off is a term for self pleasure. When I heard her sing the curtains line on SNL I smirked. Oh, it's not specifically with you, because everyone in the thread is saying that it's obvious curtains are labia (and most of them being gay men) and I'm so confused because it's so not obvious to me Like yes I can understand it's an interpretation but I don't get why everyone is so certain about it.
