For each of her tour, Madonna visited a specific part of the world, for the MDNA Tour it was the Middle East, for the Sticky & Sweet Tour it was the South America, for the Confessions Tour it was Asia and for her next tour it will be certainly Oceania.

She doesn't visit all continent in one tour, Madonna keeps her tour's shows around 60-90 concerts. Gaga, Beyonce, Celine, etc, played over 110 shows to gross less than what Madonna did with 20-30 less shows.

so that's why madge went to japan in 2006? but she only did 4 concerts there, and she didn't go to australia for the same reason as for the mdna tour (september- school starting- spending time with her children). and she hasn't been back to japan since despite japan stanning hard for her in 1987, 1990 and 1993.

i swear, if madge doesn't open her next tour in australia (to make up for not coming here for 20+ years) but then announces australian shows much later than the initial tour announcement, it could backfire. and gaga's queen of australia now and will get those stadiums on the ARTPOP ball

but i see your point about madonna "only" doing 60-90 shows yet outgrossing and outselling everyone. it's those stadiums!
