Thank the stars for the Brazilian Police. This not only would’ve been horrifying/ devastating for the people there, but also traumatising for everyone watching live.

It's terrible. My mind is very crazy and always thinks of terrible scenarios, and of course I imagined that something like this could happen. That's partly why I didn't travel to Copacabana. I was afraid for Gaga during part of the show. Luckily nothing bad happened.

And it would have been easy to harm people there. It was a free concert--many vantage points, many areas people can slip past police. Great job to their police force for making this a safe event.

It said Operation Fake Monster was based on a report by the ministry's cyber operations lab following a tip-off from Rio state police intelligence, which uncovered digital cells encouraging violent behaviour among teenagers using coded language and extremist symbolism.

Authorities carried out over a dozen search and seizure warrants, and a man described as the group's leader was arrested in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul for illegal possession of a firearm, and a teenager was detained in Rio de Janeiro for storing child abuse images.’

Not crazy at all im with you. Explains why she didn't come say hello! (Not saying she didnt leave though that hotel has many exits and private beaches there)

I just feel like this news has put me into a really anxious, depressive mood. To think Gaga and our friends who attended could have been in serious danger, it’s devastating to hear

Wait so the people who were going to do it were Gaga fans? Well they surely weren’t. Not going to lie, I don’t understand the rest of that, what was the motive?

Thank you GOD, and thank you to the authorities and security who prevented this. Please, I pray for safety for everyone at all shows. I hope they ramp up security as much as possible for all future shows.
