27monster27 12,981
For those unaware, DiscussingBritney is a snark Instagram and abandoned subreddit dedicated to misogyny and anti-mental health rhetoric against Britney Spears. The page harbors vile self-hating stepford wives and misogynistic men who talk dangerous and vile things about Britney. They have also supported organizations that have played roles in deaths like TMZ. The owner of the page masquerades it as just "harmlessly" being an active comment section for Britneys Instagram since she rarely allows comments on her Instagram posts. Since the account has been reported before, the owner has chosen to game the system by saying that the account is a "Fan club to discuss Britney Spears". This is based off an event in 2018 where fan accounts of all kinds were getting taken down as "impersonators" by Instagram moderation, and then had to explicitly state "fan account" to prevent termination (this actually happened to me at that time). For people here on GagaDaily, this is similar to what "itfeelsreductive" did earlier this decade to escape termination if y'all remember that account. Message the account; you don't have to start a new account but this should work. It gives you a way to keep tabs on the account at least partially, though you can't see any posts. I'm not sure if reporting is still possible, but it's something (You can also do what I did by looking up the account on a computer and not logging in to Instagram). So what do we do? Put mounting pressure, and make it personal. I'm actually blocked by discussingbritney on Instagram lol (I guess they are "strong enough" to make this account but not enough to handle criticism), but there is a way to (somewhat) bypass this. Thankfully, I was able to find that discussingbritney has a Reddit account, which was easy since it is literally the same name of the Instagram and the Reddit lol. However, I actually went pretty deep and was able to find some actions of their own that were awful. They not only do things like fat-shame and mental health-shame Britney, but they also attack people like Jenna Jameson* for their relationship with a woman, and go after other people for addiction issues. They use DListedCommunity (a place that is supposed to more gossip oriented and not mean, but I guess with Britney that is mostly off the table**). We have to end the pick-me/tokenism pandemic. discussingbritney enables it, and they themselves are crazy and obsessed despite their own accusations against Britney and her fans. Don't act like this person and many of their Instagram followers don't support Trump and the bigoted behavior that he and his cronies of all kinds spew regularly. Also, Britneys brother stalks the Instagram account (I guess he's Britneys H3). The alone should say enough. discussingbritney Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/discussingbritney/?hl=en discussingbritney flop Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/discussingbritney/ discussingbritney Reddit account: https://www.reddit.com/user/Discussingbritney/ Here is an attempt to take down the Instagram account from February of this year: discussingbritney being homophobic against Jenna Jamesons girlfriend by spreading the stereotype and lie that some people are gay because the opposite sex "doesn't want them": Fat shaming: Britneys brother Brian stalking the account (you will need an account on Breatheheavy to view this): https://exhale.breatheheavy.com/forums/topic/841370-new-bryan-spears-sends-ex-girlfriend-screenshots-of-fan-comments-defending-him-from-an-instagram-account-dedicated-to-hating-and-trashing-britneys-instagram-discussingbritney/ *I understand that Jenna Jameson has done some questionable things at times, but slvt-shaming her and using blatant homophobia is disgusting. **I will give them credit for calling out fatshaming unapologetically, which is very good. Creyk 17,805
You do know that even if you manage to have their account suspended they can just make a new one in like 2 seconds, right?

True! However every recreation results in people slowly losing interest and support dwindling. Trisha Paytas' snark Reddits are a good example of this. Also, it sends a message to the accounts supporters, regardless if they listen or not. he/him/his

Addison Rae 16,568
i notice ever since covid there’s this culture of online toxicity surrounding most public figures, like snark subreddits for even the most khia of influencers. just let these people be, you have to be a really distraught, unhappy person to engage in that type of thing. sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi
