Flemish girl band "K3" breaks records in Belgium and the Netherlands!

Originally planned as the "Spice Girls" of the Benelux, but quickly becoming the most popular girl band "K3" breaks records with ticket sales. Even though the band still exists in its 4th formation, the originals are doing a special series of reunion concerts in October this year and the start of 2026. Even though the group is known for their music for kids after they didn't become the new Spice Girls, everyone in between ages 4 and 30 has grown up with their music. The Originals havent been on stage with the 3 of them in 16 years.

The first batch of shows started a few weeks ago with 3 shows in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp (23.000 people capacity) and 3 shows in Ahoy Rotterdam (16.500 people), and in the first day this way already increased to 12 times Sportpaleis and 8 shows in Ahoy with 300.000 tickets sold. But demand remained high and today they started by announcing 8 extra shows. At this point, they have now 22 shows in the Sportpaleis and 16 in Ahoy, with over half a million tickets sold.

I'm kinda shocked at the impact of the OG K3. I guess it's a lot of 20 and 30 year olds that finally have the coin and autonomy to go to a K3 show that they couldn't attend as a kid.

I felt the same about the Spice Girls, so I get it. But these sales are on another level for these 2 tiny countries.
