Don’t get me wrong, this is an amazing show, and I LOVE the opera house concept, but if we’re going for arenas I’m hoping for a more elaborate/dynamic set than The Chromatica Ball or Coachella. The opera house structure is beautiful but it pales in comparison to BTWB’s castle and runway/Monster Pit combo or JWT’s FOUR stages, lift bridges, tilting main stage, the massive screen, etc. We’ll see how it fully materializes tonight! ModernEcstasy 8,843
I get that it was probably cheaper and easier to make every show the same. But I can’t understand the concept of touring with a show that was first Broadcast to millions of people. It would get boring so fast. Next week the majority of us would have watched this show 3 times already. (Not slandering the performance itself btw. It’s amazing. I just assumed each broadcast show would be different) Edited 9 hours ago by ModernEcstasy

Hell I've seen the same tour twice for some artists. 7 2
Franch Toast 26,293
I see the little complainers are at it again. Even if it’s exactly the same as Coachella, I would pay to see it as many times as I could in person. She/Her/Hers 3

I’m just saying that streaming the same show over and over is gonna get dull for general viewers. Of course fans will watch. But i can’t imagine someone else wanting to watch the same show again and again. It’s kinda like watching her perform Million Reasons for every show she was on. It got repetitive fast. I was just hoping for more variety I guess. But at least I’m not quite as bothered about missing out on tickets to the tour. (I’d still go if I could. Just not feeling fomo as much)

The excitement would be dead, and we would be totally spoiled from the whole show Also she said that this tour was planned in "just a few weeks", so I think we will get something a bit different Yeah exactly plus it would cheapen the Coachella experience. I could see her using elements of the set bc why not but I’m skeptical that she’d let the tour of her biggest album in a decade basically be something the whole world has already seen even if it’s a great show. What’s more is the setup for the setlist was great for Coachella but definitely not a tour Gaga show which normally has a longer segment at the piano + this show was designed for outside venues like Coachella and this is an indoor winter show (as annoying as that is lol)
Ashley 9,179
It wouldn’t make sense financially to spend millions building a whole new set for each show, I thought it was obvious it would have the same set as Coachella. 1

And they aren't going to go through the effort needed as an international fan to watch Rio. They also aren't people who stay up late/wake up early to watch international shows. So the only people at risk at actual little monsters. And I don't think streaming the show 3 times is any different to everyone recording clips of every show and putting it online.

You’re right! Because despite me wishing each live stream was different, I’m still gonna watch next week and I’ll even look for a stream for tonight’s show too

But either way. We will both be there at an odd hour watching dodgy livestreams in bed 😂

I didn't want spoilers for Mayhem tour.. but I ended up accidentally watching the whole show multiple times just to spend $700 and a couple thousand on flights and accommodation just to see the same show? Think about A Star is Born. Seeing it in theaters was completely different than watching it at home via stream or DVD. But hopefully the mayhem ball tour will be different. I got this. My friend, attending Singapore with me next month, said he would be very disappointed if everything remains the same... I asked him to watch the Coachella livestream so I guess it's part of my fault lmao. He's not even a monster. As a fan, I'm fine with it tho.
