I attended CBT in stadium and Celebration Tour in arena and I enjoyed Madonna much much more. You can see the artist a lot more and artists are closer to audience.

Gaga in stadium was basically 2h30 of her saying 'put your hands up'. I adored CBT, but yeah can see her vision taking arenas this time while she wants to reconnect with her audience.

Yeah but CBT was also her first stadium show. I'm sure she learned what to do different even just from her CBT footage. Monster Ball 1.0 also was nothing compared to 2.0. There's definitely ways to make stadiums work well production wise.

Eh, I get why people would be disappointed with arenas given she can sell out stadiums it this point in her career. But I think it's the right move given the current economic climate worldwide. Sure Beyonce is touring a country album, but she is struggling to fill out seats and she is... Beyonce. I definitely think this was a strategic/financial decision to do an arena tour vs. stadiums this time around. And it's smart! She can also maybe charge some higher prices given she is controlling supply by rolling out the dates vs. blasting in one go.

I think for the US leg there were only 2 or 3 stadium shows. I got to see arena production in LA and saw the stadium version in SF - which was not so great, and she cut the “red trinity” from all the stadium shows
