I personally think Pete is AMAZING, but the fact of the matter is, huge swaths of potential swing voters will not vote for women or minorities (black <Obama was a once in a few lifetimes anomaly>, gay, etc.). Elections are all about strategy now. It’s how Biden beat Trump in 2020. Dems realized this and nominated the basic old likable white guy and it got them the votes needed.
