RodeckDanny 2,448
Enough time to sing E.T 3 times, did she at least do that? Listen to my debut pop single 'Want You Bad'! (link on Insta)

Aw. You literally explained how you parttake in cherry picking with speaking out. You described performative actions chosen selectively based on.. who knows what. Its ok for the millionaire, but not the billionaire? What are your mysterious rules? So assumptions were made. You showed your hand.
StrawberryBlond 14,718
To be fair, the derision is aimed at all the women but as Katy's the most high profile, she was naturally going to catch the most stays. Her reputation is really on the floor if even this couldn't improve it. I would feel sorry for her if she didn't keep bringing it all on herself. The bad decisions she continues to embark on make her a complete liability. She was so out of her depth when making that pseudo intellectual speech upon landing, she seems to lack awareness about how basic she is. There's lots of basic popstars out there, there's nothing wrong with that, but they stay in their lane, you don't see them going to space as a tourist for less time than one of their songs and thinking they've done something monumental. Katy just needs to get this tour done (other than the US, the tickets are selling surprisingly well when I checked) and then take a good few years out to recalibrate. If she does want to continue with her music career, get a whole new team, new image and stop doing anything non-music related. And stop singing Firework. If she doesn't, she's destined to be the public's punching bag forever.

That’s just Katy being who she is. Even a good PR team can only do so much when the person at the core is inherently narcissistic and ignorant

Wewaited12hrs 86
Would not have had the same reaction 10 years ago if Gaga had done it though. Different time and circumstances. I'm genuinely worried about how fired up people are. Makes me think one day these out of touch but genuinely innocent celebrities are gonna end up like Marie Antoninette.
