I love that you're not even mentioning the removal of DWAS :ladyhaha:

I actually think that Kill for love is a nice transition between Don't call tonight!

I personally would remove HBDUWM and move Garden of Eden because it's a weird fit between Abracadabra and Perfect Celebrity. Maybe somewhere around Killah and Zombieboy. I think Happy Mistake is too depressing for MAYHEM though.

I have successfully gaslit myself into not even thinking about DWAS being on the official release :sharon:

Donald Trump is not my president and DWAS is a standalone single :whitney:

I think GoE works well after Abra but it could work there too. It just provides a good weightier transition between Abra and PC :music:

Happy Mistake is only there 'cause it shot up into my top 5 and I really hope she does it on the tour  it doesn't really mesh well with the album imo but I wanted it in that playlist and it's too sad to end on

You're stinky

As she should, Happy Mistake is one of her best songs and has one of her best live vocals ever

I know why Happy Mistake is on Harlequin but god it would also have worked great in Mayhem's tracklist.

Tbh I feel like she boomer comments sometimes where she writes without even looking at the context of what she's commenting on lmao

I fully expect Happy Mistake to be part of the acoustic section on tour, and I’m here for it.

She far more perceptive to internet culture than we give her credit for, she pioneered being a celebrity on twitter, she knows memes and def understands them, she's not our boomer aunt that barely can use Facebook, i'd argue she understands internet culture better than most of us lol

The melody that you choose can rescue you

Hoping this is a small sign Harlequin Live taping might still see the light of day. :bear: Hearing Folie à Deux with a live choir is a must.

Fr, I think she don't want to say too much personal things online cause we know well that a bad buzz can happen very fastly. So she takes some distance and take into account her celebrity status :icega:

But she comments nice things :holdmyhand:

The reply: ”So you hate waffles?”

She clearly knows about meme culture :huntyga:

Girl lives on tiktok these days

Knows *about it but I don’t think she understands a lot of them bc you’d have to spend like years on the internet to do it hahaha I mean, she didn’t totally understand nachos at first and that was basically the most popular meme of its moment. I feel like she likes memes and knows they exist but doesn’t quite get them, too :laughga:

I give her fuuuull credit for all of that but that era of the internet was also basically unrecognizable to today’s. She’s not a boomer aunt but she does have a life unlike many of us :laughga: so quite understandably she’s not as tapped in. Same as really any millennial of her time. You outgrow these things bc you grow up and have more happening and then the culture moves, too. Lest we forget the classic “fake boomerang” video. She clearly likes the internet and all that still she just isn’t a 23 yr old anymore is all

I'm one of the people who has enjoyed ARTPOP less as time goes on-- a third of the album has some highs in it, but I find that the majority of it is dated EDM (not "ahead of its time," IMO), and it doesn't feel cohesive to me at all.  I also think it has some of Gaga's worst lyrics ever.

I really liked Joanne when it first came out, but I've found that once again I only like a few songs on it as time goes on, and it's really just the precursor to the vastly superior "A Star is Born" soundtrack.

Chromatica, production-wise, feels incomplete.  Most of the songs aside from "Replay" are very linear, and I feel that once you think a song is about to go somewhere, it ends. I'm sure that Chromatica is a banger in the clubs, but when it comes to sitting at home with headphones, it's kind of a snooze for me ... Aside from "Replay" of course.  "Rain on Me" is a really good and cute pop song, but it just misses the mark of being a great pop song because they inexplicably held Ariana Grande's vocals back when they should have been larger than life.

Harlequin sonically all works together, it has some of Gaga's best vocals ever, and the original songs are great.  "Happy Mistake" is one of her best ballads, and I really hope that it's on the Mayhem Ball setlist.
