My favorite was Disease (that was pehomenal & so sexy) and I looooved the dance at the end of Garden of Eden...

I'm surprised at how good Pokerface was!!! Like wtf the choreo? Loved it

Also loved Scheiße, Zombieboy, Abra - everything (I can't even remember one I didn't like - maybe Paparazzi cuz it's just a song I can't rlly stand anymore cuz I've listened to it way too much back in the day xD )

Mr Oak

I cringed during Zombieboy:traumatica: and indeed the choreo during the verses felt predictable, I do similar dance moves to it in my kitchen :classy: Parris beware

Y'all are crazy, Perfect Celebrity was the f*cking best performance, visually at least. I don't even particularly love the song, but it was a clear standout of the concert in terms of artistry

I have to agree. Perfect Celebrity and the intro/whole 1st part of the show was so good. I liked it all though.

I was surprised a bunch of times.

Shadow Of A Man is one of my faves from the album… but I don’t think it translated well to a live performance. The chorus is such a stimulating explosion, but 1) it is so fast-paced, 2) there are so many small details in the production & 3) there are so many overlapping vocals in the song.. that it felt impossible for her to keep up with it & do it justice. She looked so ****ing cool though.

On the other hand, I’m not a Killah fan at all… but the energy in that performance was awesome. I loved those weird double-pointed hats the dancers wore. So bizarre and enjoyable to watch. I felt the same way about it on SNL- I guess I prefer the song live. Still hate the bridge though.

Best performance: Vanish Into You

Worst performance: The Beast

The bridge of Killah stays superior and unbothered :firega:

But agreed re: The Beast: I’ve never been a fan of piping in studio vocals then using a portion of a song as a transition.

People will come into a thread called “best and worst” and still be appalled at seeing any negative criticism :yennefer:

The best part was definitely Abracadabra (and everything in that first act for that matter). That song really has the energy and theatrics to really get the house jumping.

Worst part was Zombieboy. It solidified my dislike of it :laughga:

- Zombieboy was the only part of the performance that felt poor to me. I hated the choreography with the skeletons so much.

- Shadow of a Man not having ANY choreography reminiscent of Michael Jackson is just... ????

- Loved Perfect Celebrity with her laying in the sand with the corpses. It actually made me appreciate the song a little more, because it's not really my favorite track on the album.

PC was amazing I loved that she kept it so contained honestly. It allowed you to fixate on her movements.

I liked most all of it but I think zombie boy was a little hard to hear her singing at times and I didn’t looove that jacket costume. I enjoyed how concept heavy the show mostly was and followed it through for the most part. Also the way they used the stages throughout was really cool, all the levels, too.

she turned it tf out and I like the vibe a lot. She showed why she’s among the absolute best. Sheiße was a clear and obvious standout . Finally a performance I feel like really showed the song well. I felt all previous ones lacked something but couldn’t place it.

I probably would have put monster after Beast but I get you don’t add songs you take them out when your setlist is this big lmao but thematically it would have been cool.

I do think that sonically, we need to go back to the CBT.. I don't know if it's something of the transmission or the mixing but there definitely were too many backing tracks and in some parts it was hard to hear her voice. Kinda gave me BTWB vibes. I didn't really like the blue outfit, I was hoping something more grungy (I don't know if that's the word) like what she used in SNL, but the other things she used were amazing.

Bloody Mary was amazing (I wish it was the full song though as it's one of my faves, so gaga if you're reading this, please make sing it for full in mexico :fatcat:). I was very surprised to see she shortened DWAS and hope she doesn't for the next non-Coachella shows, as it's a signature hit by now.

Perfect Celebrity was great, but I was expecting the dancers or skull to move while she was there for some reason (obv, that happened later but yeah). The finale definitely should be longer and I hope she uses it to add songs for the non-coachella songs. I feel like at the end, the lady in red story got a bit lost? Or maybe it was me? I also feel like she barely did anything due to the costume, she saw great when the song ended and came out without the jacket/pieces, so she could take them out mid-song and do some choreo or move around.

I love Zombieboy but maybe they need to choreograph it better or do something different? like, neon dressed skeleton dancers? I can see the potential, I just think that the skeletons first, aren't really zombies, and second, don't have a lot of movability and coordination so that might be why.

I did love the jacket. I wasn't a big fan of the main costume in that act.

Shadow Of A Man was great. I don't want her to do something like him because that would mean comparison but yeah, I was expecting some epic or signature choreo a la Babylon.

I loved that she did the beast. Not only do I love the song (I don't know why so many hate it?) but I feel like it's a song that's literally meant to be performed live. I do agree that I think that she should've kept on singing live while doing the costume change or use a recorded live version to keep playing instead of what I think was the studio version. I also think they could make it more dramatic, but I'm happy to see it was included in the show.

This show definitely had amazing looks, costumes and styling in most acts. It's missing songs but if they tweak it like CBT, it's a masterpiece.

Now that I've watched it in full, I would say:

🩷 BEST PERFORMANCE: "Perfect Celebrity". It was fantastic, visually, conceptually; it was simple, yet very creative, and so well rehearsed and performed. Beautiful cinematography, it felt like a music video.

I'm not even a huge fan of the song, but that performance was an artistic achievement, in my opinion.

🖤 LEAST IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE: "The Beast". I do understand the song served the concert, from a narrative point of view, and I do think the idea of having Mayhem singing the song on the moon's reflection while she changed, was clever and visually appealing. However the song itself isn't really a crowd pleaser, and I do believe it could've been replaced by "Rain On Me", "Plastic Doll" or even "Dance In The Dark".

🩷 NOTABLE MOMENTS: The intro with "Bloody Mary", "Abracadabra" and "Judas" was not only visually stunning, but clever. Her two viral songs from the past, boosting her latest hit, in a visually impeccable gothic fantasy. It was perfection.

The chess scenary for "Poker Face" was beautifully choreographed and styled, a highlight for me.

🖤 MINOR IRKS: The show was her best ever, in my opinion, so any negative observation I could possibly make, is minor. Nothing that legitimately affected the show in any relevant fashion.

With that being said, I absolutely hated her "Dancing With The Stars" looking bodysuit, for "Killah". It stood out horribly against the rest of the fashion, it didn't fit the theme, it wasn't gothic, it wasn't romantic, it wasn't elegant, it was ugly as shït, and I was so happy when she covered it with the skeleton jacket.

The dancers looked great though.

But that is pretty much it. It was the best show of her entire career, in my opinion.
