Will Coachella spoil The Mayhem Ball?

Managed to get on here and avoid all spoilers so far, so apologies if this has already been posted but I want to gauge whether or not you guys think The Mayhem Ball will be very similar to Coachella? I know nothing about the Coachella show and I want to watch it so bad but I don't want to spoil my concert date. 

I'm expecting Coachella to be Mayhem-heavy so I know it'll 'spoil' seeing most of the songs performed for the first time if nothing else but I'm more concerned if we think other elements feel likely to be repeated - like the staging, narrative, interludes, visuals, costumes and deep cuts. Or is the general consensus that Coachella is its own thing and the ball will be unique from it? 

I'm desperate to watch Coachella but won't if the consensus is that the ball will be extremely close to it. 

For reference, I wouldn't consider Coachella 2017 and Joanne World Tour very similar so there is a precedent for difference between the two.

Well I don't think it will necessarily be the same when it comes to stage and set ups but the setlist definitely speaks volumes on what we should expect at least for me

I don't think so, as Coachella 2017 didn't spoil JWT (maybe Scheisse). And the Mayhem Ball will have more songs.

I don’t think so. She’s voiced Coachella as some sort of different entity. And same thing with 2017, as you mentioned, it wasn’t identical to JWT. I doubt it’s the entire Mayhem Ball. There wouldn’t be a point to it bc Coachella needs some form of exclusivity as an annual event.

Tbh we can’t know… sure Gaga has said she never done things twice and there might be a contractual thinh that does indeed say that it needs to be separate and unique shows from Coachella to Copacbana,Rio Singapore… HOWEVER gaga is also a business woman and maybe plays ”smart” as she said she would not tour this year, this set could be the tour. I do understand why she chose so many Mayhem songs, to promote the album, but it felt more like Mayhem Tour than a Festival set. I LOVE IT THO…

Aa far as I can remember, the only time she has really mixed and matched festival/tour stuff is with The Fame Ball and Glastonbury Festival back in the day. And maybe the Enigma show being re-used for that live stream thing too?

However, I do think a lot of the Coachella stuff will be included in the tour. She's been talking about being more conscious of over-producing props and stage stuff, so I'm sure some of it will work it's way into the Mayhem Ball and the stadium shows.

I think we should prepare for the act structure, the choreo and some song sequences, and maybe the bigger set pieces to carry over to the tour. Coachella was a very MAYHEM-centric show and tour will be too, so I expect the more intricate song transitions to remain. And she's talked about using less resources lately so that could easily apply to at least recycling the physical stuff we saw. If it ends up being completely different take it as a surprise gift! If it's largely the same and just expanded to fill a longer set then everyone who participated in Couchella gets to see her best show to date IRL.
