Well True ! That said Gaga has always been very promo sensitive to get success, let's be real. Each time she disappears her streams tend to bend dicreasing, that's mainly why I have faith for her Coachella show being another big success boost for her.

If it means albums need big promo to be successful again, well I'm VERY happy about it, because lately all those 'eras' feel so lazy and uneventful.

One good thing about the tarrifs rising living costs in the US may be that it forces record labels to invest in promo to encourage sales. Especially now the lazy digital bundles are getting nerfed.

I think we can safely rule out Miley as a threat for Gaga and Mayhem this year. These numbers are not good and even if its just the first few days its just not looking good

Lets remember the focus of this album campaign is the visual concept film attached.

I don't expect us to have a real read of how this album will preform until that film drops the day after the album releases.

I love Miley but this is a bit of a mess. The music is just meh and she keeps posting in third person? like I get/suppose thats the vibe shes going for but it feels so… cold? She’s always been super open and funny and she would post whatever she wanted. Now all this new posts seem out of place. It looks like she’s trying to pull off a beyonce, but beyonce was never the kind of girl who is approachable and down to earth. Miley’s vibe was literally to be down to eatth end close to her fans. What does she mean she’s wearing couture clothes? like okay? Her last 3 videos have revolved around her vintage outfit. This plus her saying that she doesnt want to tour because she doesn’t want to get dressed in her couture clothes in a locker room shows her off as super unaware of her privilege.

Ariana released a mini film on Youtube. Chappel had a huge campaign with billboards for The Giver, Sabrina released a video with Dolly Parton.

from what she has released so far and official trailer, it seems that the visual film are 13 videos of her in 13 different outfit...

Miley hasn’t toured proper since Bangerz, no? Like she’s done a couple mini promo tours at festivals but nothing serious. I kinda get the vibe that she’s had her fill of fame and promo and fun and just kinda releases what she wants to release irregardless of charts. Lord knows the girl’s lived multiple entire lives since her childhood stardom. I thought End of the World was cute, I liked the other two songs a little more. Prelude felt very Nico to me and I found it interesting and refreshing.
