Hi everyone! Does anybody maybe have a video of Vanish Into You on the 4th?

Gaga signed my friends cards and took my t-shirt I gifted to her. I would love a better view than I found online so far.

Just a quick question, what is going on at 02:30 in this video?

 

She stops singing, but her vocals, not just the backing track, keep going. Now I am not accusing her of lip syncing, but after watching several videos of both Berlin shows to make sure the uploader didn't just take the audio of one show and put it onto the footage of the other, I must say: The bridge sounds identical on both nights. Then I looked up numerous videos from the latest Mayhem Ball Shows and the bridge is identical on all of them, same main vocal over the backing track. She alyways stops singing at the same part, but the main vocal keeps going. She isn't hiding it, which means it is not an attempt to make it look like she is singing. It is strange though, why did she record a main vocal and either pretends to sing it live or sings along with it, but then the last 5 words she stops "pretending". What is the point? Resting her vocals? She already has a backing track that plays along with the not so live main vocal. Strange indeed, and during earlier shows, this was not the case.

I think it's just the "check this hand cause I'm" that is pre-recorded. She probably needs to catch a short breath and uses these vocals to fill the space. You can also hear a slight "popping" sound from the mic when she's singing the "promise this, promise this" which makes me believe that everything prior is actually live.

Right, this is the most likely explanation. Since she already faced vocal fatigue earlier during the tour, she might need a few more breaks. It did strike me as odd, though, that she would record a vocal line when the backing vocals from the studio track are already quite prominent in the mix during the bridge of Poker Face.
