Just a few weeks after reports that Warner Bros. may have sold its controversially-vaulted Looney Tunes movie for sale, it’s now official: Ketchup Entertainment has acquired the theatrical distribution rights to Coyote vs. Acme, with the live-action/animation hybrid film set to finally release some time next year.

Deadline reports that Ketchup–the same company that ultimately distributed the recent Looney Tunes animated movie The Day the Earth Blew Up, after its plans to release as a Max streaming original pivoted–has acquired the distribution rights.

REALITY

All the people complaining about this movie should go out and see it. It'll be incredibly infuriating if this thing releases in theatres and makes no money.

Do you really think there were that many people complaining about it online? Enough to make this a success?

Unfortunately a lot of fans are all bark, no bite these days.

Even the recent animated Looney Tunes movie under-performed hard.

However CVA has a bit more of a cult following and even has Will Forte and John Cena attatched already too.

I think they're all talk tbh. Social media, particularly Twitter, is not as representative of the world as people think. I don't think this'll totally flop at the box office, but I don't think enough people will go out to see it to make it an undeniable success.

It would be kind of funny if the movie ends up being mid.

But I’m definitely interested in seeing this.

It was originally supposed to come out in early 2023. The early reviews were really in their favour and it's even based on an original comic strip from 90s :vegas:
