When I heard it, the first thing that came to mind was Yazoo.

No matter who was your first thought, you still thought about Taylor Swift. The contrary doesn’t exist, sorry (unless you’ve never heard a Taylor song)

Huh? Chromatica had 3 MVs (Stupid Love, ROM, 911) and Joanne had 4 (Perfect Illusion, Million Reasons, John Wayne, Joanne). LMs talk a big game about “missing the days when…” and yet, will be the first to say “she can take it back” when she gives us 2 (!) extra videos for an album like Joanne (2 singles + 2 album tracks).

Her only album that dipped from a videography standpoint was ARTPOP, and it shouldn’t have to be stated in 2025 that the reasons were more than justifiable- DWUW was recorded but (thankfully) scrapped and after her split from Troy, the GUY MV and extended edit with ARTPOP, Venus, and MANiCURE included was a nice way to send off the era for fans.

Right- why are there more than 1 post alluding to “budget issues” preventing the release of any more music videos? Abracadabra was sponsored, something she’s done throughout her entire career and I imagine will continue to in order to help support her content - in recent times, with Apple (John Wayne, Stupid Love), LG (911), etc. 

Every indication from the label and industry is that MAYHEM has been a massive commercial success, but even if it had tanked, she’s Lady Gaga and she has the creativity, money, clout and connections to put out whatever budget visual whenever she wants.

I think so many songs deserve videos, the album is amazing 

garden of Eden is one of the most obvious next single choices so i would make a biblical garden less literal and make it a 90s rave/ matrix vibe with Grace Jones/Madonna as DJ/ God, some God-tier choreo by Paris, body horror akin to The Substance and forbidden fruit as a apple-shaped disco ball

perfect celebrity could be directed by jonas akerlund and be a little less NSFW version of MANiCURE video treatment that leaked while ago with celebrity cameos( BRITNEY WOULD BE PERFECT) and a lot of dark humour 

VIY is begging for her to bring back Yuyi The Mermaid and make a video similair to the movie Lighthouse( more in the visual sense and WAAAY less creepy) - maybe smth about a lighthouse keeper/ sailor saving her from the fishermen hooks, they fall in love but she is an immortal being and he is human and he grows older- beautiful, tragic, touching and a little bit kooky, just like gaga( also a callback to You And I video) - Also Vanish into you screams water, waves, colour blue 

but HBDYWM has the biggest potential, especially if Taylor Swift hops on the remix - it could play around the stereotypes that they both have( And kind of allude to the both sides of her presented in the lyrics)  but do it in a glorious campy funny over the top AHS:1984, Sleepaway Camp, slasher way with celebrity cameos as campers and Taylor playing hot blonde popular girl, while gaga is a obsessed killer dressed up in her misstress of mayhem attire - fun and gorey, kind of like Sabrina’s Taste 

other songs could also have so much potential

FASHION, and high budget production value. I want to see that Nurtec coin put to USE . 

Abracadabra was a step in the right direction, I just need something as cool, but a little more visually diverse. I want something like G.U.Y or Yoü And I, but Mayhem themed.

It would break the soccer mom portion of the internet into shreds and I’m here for it. Also, now that you mention it the song would fit Ally & Jackson perfectly.

Well she doesn’t *lie* she has things fall out of her control but I feel like she wouldn’t talk so much about it in the album promo if it wasn’t basically locked in. She’s seemingly pretty prepared this era and VERY buttoned up unlike past times

It was basically her, Britney, lindsay and Paris getting injected and pampered in the beauty studio, a reference to the iconic bimbo summit and there was a brothel scene with various celebs(Bieber and selena, Kim, Kanye and Kris, cindy crawford and Naomi campbell) having sex and Gaga doing an x-rated pole dance for Charlie Sheen 

oh, and also Big Bird and Elmo ****ing, Madonna lookalike having sex with gaga and a fight scene with Lindsay. Also, Beyonce( it was meant to be a Telephone sequel)

Vanish Into You deserves to be a single with a music video and I also think she should do visuals for Perfect Celebrity and Killah because they’re standout tracks from Mayhem and very unique in her discography and would be interesting to see what she does with these.
