ThatsGossip111 239
When it comes to a Gaga tour, do yall prefer something that makes sense thematically? Even if it’s not a particular story being told, at least the themes of the songs all kinda flow nice. OR Do you care mostly about the pacing, and what songs sound nice next to eachother regardless of theme. I personally LOVE a good theme, but I find it can feel limiting when I’m making my fan made setlists 😂 My ocd kicks in and all the stylists I create are too similar lmao
Trigger 298
I'll admit I want something as conceptually coherent as the Born This Way Ball again. Chromatica Ball was incredible, but it was disappointing that for an album with so much storytelling (albeit loose), there wasn't really any story at all for the tour. Madame Goo Goo 3,787
I don’t want a tour with a story element, ngl. I don’t trust her ability to do that well anymore after the absolute freaking incoherent mess that is the storyline of Enigma. Maybe that’s something we can leave in the past. Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything

However, I do feel there was a story or at least a theme in the chromatica ball, just not as obvious as BTWB or TMB

Maybe not a story element, but would u want the songs to at least tie together thematically. For example, I can’t picture her singing just dance next to Judas. Taumaturg0 168
Thematic, even if it's a theme for each "act" and not a fully cohessive theme
Aglaya 8,309
Enigma was amazing in terms of storytelling and stage design. Kinda sad that blue wig got all the attention could mean anything 1

Enigma is the worst example she gave us amazing storylines with TMBT and BTWBT

Monster Ball was pretty tight but benefitted from having a small number of set pieces that really drove the narrative. Most songs didn't come into it at all. BTWB had large swathes where nothing made sense or flowed stream bionic
