FKA Twigs postpones US tour dates due to visa issues 1 day before the shows

FKA Twigs has postponed shows in three cities—Chicago, Toronto, and New York—on her current Eusexua tour after her production failed to complete the proper paperwork to secure visas.

Twigs was scheduled to perform in Chicago on March 26-27, Toronto on March 30-31 and Queens, NY on May 3-4. 

 

In a post on TikTok, the singer explained that the European tour dates for her third album, which was released in January, have been a creatively fulfilling experience thus far, but it’s been “challenging” on the production side, which led to the cancellation and postponement of shows in the United States.

The Eusexua tour started off on rocky footing after Twigs canceled the opening two shows in Prague and Berlin based on “shipping issues.”

She’s also supposed to perform at Coachella on April 11th and 18th

Woke up to see the 31st Toronto show cancelled. This was my first and likely last time buying tickets to go see her. 

I don’t doubt management and production issues occur when organizing a tour, but when you cancel and postpone shows this often, then it reflects on you the artist. At this point, you are the one responsible and at fault.

Why? My Berlin date was also postponed.. i still wanna see her and enjoy the album very much. Get over yourself or return your tickets, lol

But of course she had to go through with the Paris date that I ultimately couldn’t attend for professional reasons…

I mean, in their defense, I was supposed to attend the Magdalene Tour, but she cancelled on us 20 minutes AFTER the show was supposed to start, while we were all waiting for them to open the doors. So I get the frustration.

I understand things like that can happen, but it seems to be an ongoing issue when it comes to her...

Not me learning this from you when i just bought tickets a few days ago
